The fields of the Mas de Roc cooperative are spread over three farms located in the mountains of Alicante at an altitude ranging between 650 and 950 meters and a short distance of 25 km from the Mediterranean Sea.
Undoubtedly, a privileged area with a unique climate ideal for fruticulture whose characteristics help us to grow fruit with exceptional organoleptic quality.
Winter → Sufficiently cold for fruit cultivation
Spring and Autumn → Rainy and suitable for dry farming
Summer → Mild temperatures where the fruit ripens gradually
The fields are located near the Natural Park of the Carrascal de la Font Roja, and some of them are part of the Natura 2000 protected area.
Looking around has made us aware of the importance of preserving these natural reserves and their landscape.
That is why our farming practices seek the maximum respect for the surrounding land.
We have taken responsibility for landscape and environmental management to ensure:
1- That the area does not suffer high landscape impact. No meshes or greenhouses.
2- That the soil does not lose its fertility and continues to yield its bounty.
3- That native flora and fauna are respected. We aim to promote its value.
It is clear that both the native climate and landscape are crucial factors in our agriculture.
But to achieve such delicious fruit, more is needed.
